Bac Ninh diocese visits Bac Ninh provincial People’s Committee

During the visit, Bishop Cosme Hoàng Văn Đạt thanked local authorities for support and favorable conditions extended to religious practices of local Catholic followers over the past years, while extending Tet greetings to local officials and people.

Speaking with the guests, while informing results of socio-economic development in 2022, Chairwoman Nguyễn Hương Giang highly appreciated practical contributions made by religious followers for the socio-economic development and the Covid-19 prevention work in the province.

She also took the chance to extend wishes of happiness and prosperity to the bishop, priests, and lay followers in the locality in Lunar New Year of Tiger.

Provincial VBS’s Executive Committee delegation pays pre-Tet visit provincial People’s Committee

On the same day, a delegation from the provincial Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS)’s Executive Committee led by Senior Venerable Thích Thanh Phụng, Chairman of the Committee paid a Tet visit to the provincial People’s Committee.

* Secretary of the provincial Party’s Committee Đào Hồng Lan received on January 26 a delegation from the provincial VBS’s Executive Committee.

During the event, while extending Tet wishes to Buddhist monks, nuns and lay followers in the province, Secretary Đào Hồng Lan expressed hope that the provincial VBS’s Executive Committee would encourage their followers to observe State laws and the Covid-19 preventive measures, contributing to the socio-economic development in the province.
