Religious Committee in Tra Vinh extends greetings to Khmer people on Chol Chnam Thmay festival

A delegation from the Committee for Religious Affairs of the southern province of Tra Vinh led by Chairman Lê Văn Tịnh has paid visits to outstanding Khmer monks on occasion of the Khmer community’s traditional Chol Chnam Thmay Festival.

During the visits, while extending best wishes to Khmer dignitaries and the local Khmer community on occasion of their traditional festival, Chairman Lê Văn Tịnh informed results of socio-economic development of the locality in the first three month of 2022. He called on Khmer monks and heads of the Buddhist places to encourage lay Khmer Buddhists to well implement State laws and the Charter and regulations of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha and proactively participate in social programs launched by local authorities.
