On September 27, Chairman of Quang Binh provincial Committee for Religious Affairs Tô Ngọc Hồng led a delegation to visit the monastery of Huong Phuong congregation of Lovers of the Holy Cross and its children sponsoring center in the province’s Quang Trach district.
The delegation presented daily necesscities such as rice and milk to the monastery and its charitable center sponsoring children with disabilities as the monastery is struggling to overcome the consequences of Doksuri storm devastating central provinces in September.

Speaking at a meeting with sisters of Huong Phuong monastery, Chairman Tô Ngọc Hồng highly praised pratical contributions made by sisters of the monastery and hoped that sisters would further join hands with the local authorities to care for people under disadvantaged cicurmstances.
Huong Phuong congregation is one of the eight communities of Vinh congregation of Lovers of the Holy Cross. The charitable center “Home of Hope” is currently raising over 100 children with disabilities and orphans.
