A delegation from the Committee for Religious Affairs in Gia Lai province led by Vice Chairman Nguyễn Văn Nô paid on April 8 a visit to the provincial Representative Committee of the Evangelical Church of Vietnam (ECVN) (South) ahead of Easter 2022.
During the visit, while extending warm and happy Easter greetings to the ECVN’s community in the province, Vice Chairman Nguyễn Văn Nô spoke highly of practical contributions including the Covid-19 prevention work made by local Protestants. He also expressed hope that the provincial Representative Committee of the ECVN (South) would continue encouraging members to actively engage in social programs launched by local authorities.
On the occasion, Vice Chairman Nguyễn Văn Nô presented a certificate of merit of the provincial government to the ECVN’s provincial Representative Committee for practical contributions in Covid-19 prevention work.
Pastor Hanh, Head of the ECVN’s Representative Committee in Gia Lai took the chance to thank to the provincial authorities for its due attention and support extended to religious practices in the locality.
