Religious committee in Dong Nai mobilizes resources for presenting medical equipment to frontline force against Covid-19

Given the current Covid-19 epidemic outbreak in Dong Nai province, the provincial committee for religious affairs has proactively and successfully mobilized resources of religious organizations in the province for presenting essential supplies worth over 2 billion VND in total to lockdown areas, hospitals and field hospitals in the districts of Nhon Trach and Vinh Cuu, and Bien Hoa City.
Considerable contributions to this initiative have come from religious worshipping places in the province, such as Thuong Chieu Zen monastery, Chuyen Tu monastery, Phuoc Quang pagoda located in Long Thanh district, pagodas of Tinh Hoi, Buu Phong, Long Thien and Vien Giac, Truc Lam Nhat Quang Zen monastery, Xuan Loc diocese’s Evangelization Board in Bien Hoa City, Loc Hoa Catholic parish in Trang Bom district, An Phuoc Holy Mother Monastery located in Nhon Trach district, etc.
In particular, Thuong Chieu Zen monastery located in Long Thanh district’s Phuoc Thai commune has presented over 800 medical protective suits valued at nearly 800 million VND in total to field hospitals in the province.
