Dong Nai provincial Committee for Religious Affairs held on October 29 an exchange meeting with dignitaries of Protestant sects in the province.
The event was chaired by Vice Chairman of the provincial religious committee Nguyễn Đình Kiên and attended by Vice Chairman of the provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (VFF) Vũ Đình Trung, representatives from local authorities and Protestant dignitaries in the locality.
During the meeting, the provincial religious committee briefed about the socio-economic development in the first nine months of 2019, the practice of belief and religion in the province and the provincial 11th Party’s congress, etc.
Representatives of Protestant sects in the province expressed their delight at the outcomes of socio-economic development and the Covid-19 prevention work in the locality. They also reflected practical issues relating Protestant practices in the locality over the past years.

Local authorities took the chance to praise practical contributions made by local Protestant denominations to social development of Dong Nai province and expressed hope that religious dignitaries would continue making practical efforts for strengthening national unity and social development in the province.
