The Ca Mau provincial committee for religious affairs paid visits to several religious organizations in the locality, as well as hosted receptions for visiting religious delegations from January 22-28, ahead of Lunar New Year (Tet) 2019.
During the visits, the provincial religious committee shared with religious organizations results of socio-economic development in the locality in 2018, and spoke highly of local religious organizations’ social and charitable contributions, valued at tens of billion VND, in the locality. Leaders of the religious committee also extended Tet greetings to dignitaries and followers of religious organizations in the province.
Representatives of religious organizations has also exchanged with the religious committee practices of religion in the locality, including the one-year implementation of the Law on Belief and Religion and its guiding Decree No.162.
