Religious committee in An Giang visits to Tu An Hieu Nghia Buddhist Association on occasion of the 130th death anniversary of the faith founder

Chairman of the Committee for Religious Affairs in An Giang Nguyễn Phú has paid visits to worshipping places of Tu An Hieu Nghia (Four Debts of Gratitude) Buddhist Association on occasion of the 130th passing-away anniversary of Master Ngô Lợi – founder of the religion.
During the visits, Chairman Nguyễn Phú spoke highly of practical contributions made by the Tu An Hieu Nghia Buddhist Association for to socio-economic development in the province and asked leaders of the faith to promote its fine traditions for strengthening social unity in the country.
This year, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the Buddhist Association has not held any ceremony for commemorating the 130th Death anniversary of Master Ngô Lợi.
Tu An Hieu Nghia Buddhist Association was founded on May of 1867 by Master Ngô Lợi.
