A delegation led by Chairman of the Committee for Religious Affairs in An Giang province Nguyễn Phú held on December 16 a congratulating visit to the Representative Committee of Hoa Hao Buddhism in the province, on the occasion of the 103rd Birthday Anniversary of Hoa Hao Buddhism’s Founder Huỳnh Phú Sổ (the 25th of the eleventh lunar month, 1919 – 2022).
During the visit, while extending congratulations to members of the Hoa Hao Buddhist church in the province, Chairman Nguyễn Phú also spoke highly of practical contributions made by Hoa Hao Buddhists for charity work and social welfare in the locality over the past years.
On the same day, the delegation visited and extended congratulations to the Worship Board of the founding temple of Hoa Hao Buddhism located in Phu Tan district’s Phu My town of the province.
