Chairman of the Committee for Religious Affairs in An Giang Nguyễn Phú on November 3 hosted a reception for a visiting delegation from the Tien Thien (Ante-Creation) Caodai Church led by Archbishop Thượng Phong Thanh, Vice Chairman of the Caodai Church.
Speaking with the host, Archbishop Thượng Phong Thanh informed religious affairs of the Ante-Creation Caodai Church in general and the Caodai parish in An Giang in 2022. He also thanked local authorities for support and favorable conditions extended to religious practices of the Caodai parish in the province over the past years.
For his part, Chairman Nguyễn Phú spoke highly of activities of the Caodai Church’s and its parish in An Giang province over the past years.
The Chairman expressed hope that the Caodai Church would encourage its members to proactively join patriotic programs in the locality.
As reported, the parish of Tien Thien Caodai Church in An Hao commune of An Giang province’s Tinh Bien district has over 300 followers.
