Attending the conference were about 100 key cadres tasked with the religious affairs from the district and commune – level authorities and social and political organizations in the locality.

The one-day training provided presentations on the current religious life in the country and in the province, key contents of the resolution No 25-NQ/TW of the Party Central Committee on religious affairs adopted in 2003 and the new Law on Belief and Religion 2016 and its guiding Decree 162.

The training participants also learnt about religion-related legal provisions on land and construction.

The training aimed to review the one-year implementation of the new law on belief and religion in the district as well as enhance understanding of state policies and laws on religion for local cadres tasked with religious affairs in the locality.
