Lam Dong provincial department of home affairs held on September 24-27 a workshop on religious affairs for commune-level cadres from social, political sub-organizations in the province.
The event saw the participation of over 100 members from societies of veterans, farmers, women, youth and trade union in the province’s communes.
The three-day training covered topics on the Party’s guidelines and the State’s policies on religion; the Law on Belief and Religion 2016 and its guiding decree, the state administration on Buddhism, Catholicism, Protestantism and Caodaism, advocacy work amongst religious communities and the coordination mechanism in solving religious issues.
During the training workshop, participating local cadres also engaged in discussions of practical issues related to religion in the province.
