A delegation of An Giang provincial Committee for Religious Affairs led by Chairman Nguyễn Phú paid a visit on January 17 to the Hoa Hao Buddhist Church’s Central Executive Committee, ahead of Lunar New Year (Tet) 2022.

During the visit, while extending Tet greetings to all dignitaries and lay followers of the Buddhist Church, Chairman Nguyễn Phú highly appreciated practical contributions made by the Buddhist executive committee to the Covid-19 prevention work and social charities in the province over the last year.
* On the same day, Chairman Nguyễn Phú also paid a visit to the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS)’s Executive Board in Chau Thanh district.
At the visiting reception, while extending Tet greetings to dignitaries and lay Buddhists in the district, the religious committee official also congratulated the VBS executive board for the successful organization of the district-level Buddhist congress for 2021-2026 tenure.
