The military command in the Southern province of Tay Ninh has formally presented two sets of sport equipment to Ka Ot Pagoda located in Tan Dong commune and Nurul Iman Mosque, both in the province’s Tan Chau district, at the inauguration ceremony held on October 15.
Present at the event taking place in Ka Ot pagoda included Colonel Trần Đức Thắng, Deputy Commissar of the 7th Military Region; Colonel Đỗ Thành Việt, Deputy Commissar of the provincial Military Command; Chairman of the provincial Committee for Religious and Ethnic Affairs Võ Thành Công; Monk Sơn Quych Thi from Ka Ot pagoda and Haji Chàm Sền, Head of Nurul Iman Mosque.
The sport equipment installed in the two places of religious worship has the total value of 500 million VND.
On the occasion, the 7th military region, the provincial military command and the provincial religious – ethnic committee presented gifts to the two religious places of worship.
As reported, in 2020, the 7th military region and the provincial military command have presented construction works of cultural and sport centers to three religious places of Khe Dol Pagoda in Thanh Tan commune of Tay Ninh City, Jamiul Nia’mah Mosque in Suoi Day commune of Tan Chau district and Phuoc Dien Parish Church in Chau Thanh district.
