Provincial authorities in Nam Dinh extend congratulation to provincial Catholic solidarity committee

Chairman of Nam Dinh provincial People’s Committee Trần Văn Chung paid a visit on March 8 to the Committee for solidarity of Catholics in the province on the occasion of the 64th anniversary of the Committee for Solidarity of Vietnamese Catholics (1955-2019).
During the visit, Chairman Trần Văn Chung highly appreciated the provincial Catholic solidarity committee’s achievements in fostering Catholic unity and proactive participating in patriotic emulation movements over the past 64 years. He also expressed hope that the Catholic committee would continue closely working with concerning authorities for meeting legitimate needs of Catholics, contributing to consolidate the national unity and promote socio-economic development in the province.
Chairman of the provincial Catholic solidarity committee, Priest Joseph Hoàng Văn Tuấn took the chance to thank provincial authorities for favorable conditions created for religious practices in the locality over the past years.
