The Advisory Council on Religious Affairs under the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF)’s Central Committee held on June 13 a conference on the supervision of the religious law 2016 implementation.

The conference chaired by Vice President of the VFF's central Committee Ngô Sách Thực gathered a large number of comments relating practical and remaining issues in the implementation of the Law on Belief and Religion 2016, including religious-related land and construction, registration of key religious personnel, as well as construction of spiritual - ecological tourist sites.
According to Vice President Ngô Sách Thực, the conference aimed to promote the supervision role of the VFF toward the implementation of the new belief and religious law, thus proposing effective measures for ensuring the strict implementation of the new law as well as promoting fine moral values of religions in social fields such as education, medical service and social charities.
There will be a supervising report reflecting practical issues relating religion and aspirations of religious organizations sent to concerning competent authorities, Ngô Sách Thực stated.
