Khmer monks and lay Buddhists living in Ho Chi Minh City’s District 3 have been presented with gift sets at a ceremony held on September 30 on occasion of Sene Dolta festival 2021.
During the event taking place at Candaransi pagoda, Lt. Col. Nguyễn Ngọc Hùng, Political Commissar of the Military Command in Ho Chi Minh City’s District 3, Deputy Head of the district Commission for Mass Mobilization Phạm Thị Bích Vân, and Venerable Châu Hoài Thái, a representative of Candaransi pagoda presented 50 gift sets containing necessities to Khmer monks and lay Buddhists in the district.
This was part of a program launched by the 7th Military Command and CT Group for presenting 20,000 gift sets to religious and ethnic people in Ho Chi Minh City.
