Vice Chairman of the People’s Committee in Lam Dong province Phạm S extended on January 4 a visit to the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS)’s Executive Committee in the province, on the occasion of the traditional New Year (Tet) 2023.
Welcoming the official included Most Venerable Chairman of the provincial VBS’s Executive Committee Thích Thanh Tân.
During the visit, Vice Chairman Phạm S informed the host results of socio-economic development in 2022 in the province, and key tasks set for year 2023.
The official also extended Tet greetings to the provincial VBS, and asked the VBS dignitaries to continue encouraging local Buddhists to proactively engage in patriotic movements launched for sustainable development in the locality.
