This year, Ramuwan (New Year) festival of Cham Muslims in Ninh Thuan province will be celebrated from March 31 to April 2. Right after celebrating the traditional Ramuwan festival, Muslims will celebrate Ramadan until May 3.
Deputy Secretary of Party’s Committee in Ninh Thuan province Phạm Văn Hậu visit Dignitary Council of Bani Islamic Community
On this occasion, leaders of the south-central province of Ninh Thuan have paid visits to the Dignitaries Council of Bani Islamic Community, the Representative Committee of Islamic Community, Islamic dignitaries and outstanding Muslims in the province.
In particular, on March 28, Chairman of Ninh Thuan provincial People’s Council Phạm Văn Hậu visited and met with the Dignitaries Council of Bani Islamic Community in the province, Mr. Thành Chiểu, former Head of Ethnic Affairs Committee under the provincial People’s Council and Mr. Phú Văn Trạng, former Deputy Secretary of the Party’s Committee in Ninh Hai district, etc.
During the visits, while extending traditional New Year wishes to dignitaries and deacons of the Dignitaries Council of Bani Islamic Community and Muslim followers, Deputy Secretary Phạm Văn Hậu expressed hope that Islamic dignitaries and deacons would promote fine traditions, guide religious practices of local Muslims in accordance with the state laws, and proactively respond to social programs in the locality.
