The Youth Union in Nghe Anh province in collaboration with Cua Lo district’s authorities held on December 19 a ceremony for honoring outstanding religious youth in the province, and welcoming Christmas 2021 and New Year 2022.
The event saw the presence of Chairwoman of the district Party’s Committee Phạm Thị Hồng Toan, representatives from local authorities, the pastoral Catholic council of parishes and sub-parishes in Cua Lo district.
During the event, Nghe An provincial authorities presented certificates of commendation to 17 outstanding religious youth honoring their practical contributions in the Union’s programs and movements launched for the socio-economic development of the locality.
In addition, the provincial Youth Union supported the construction of a playground for children in Block 3, Cua Lo district’s Thu Thuy ward, and presented six bicycles to six disadvantaged pupils who achieved good school results and 10 gift sets to 10 poor households in the district.
