Municipal authorities in Da Nang visits religious organizations affected by Covid-19 pandemic

A delegation from Da Nang municipal authorities led by Deputy Secretary of the municipal Party’s Committee cum Chairman of the municipal People’s Council Nguyễn Minh Triết has paid visits to religious organizations in the city on occasion of the 76th National Day of Vietnam (September 2).
During the visits, Deputy Secretary Lương Minh Triết shared difficulties with local religious organizations when the city has implemented social distancing measures. He expressed hope that religious dignitaries, deacons and lay followers would continue to strictly observe regulations on COVID-19 prevention measures issued by the municipal authorities.
In the complicated context of Covid-19 pandemic in the city, religious establishments have been imposed with restrictions in organizing normal religious practices and worshipping gatherings.
