The Ministry of Justice held on October 3 two separate meetings to appraise two draft decrees for implementation of the Law on Belief and Religion.
The meetings appraising the draft decree detailing and providing measures for the implementation of Law on Belief and Religion and draft degree on sanctions for administrative violation in the field of belief and religion were presided respectively by Deputy Director of the Department for Criminal and Administrative Laws Nguyễn Thị Hạnh and Director of the General Department of Civil Judgment Enforcement Đặng Thanh Sơn.
Attending the two events included Vice Chairmen of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs Bùi Thanh Hà and Dương Ngọc Tấn and members of the appraisal councils, the drafting committee and editing board of the decree drafting project.
The draft decree detailing and providing measures for the implementation of Law on Belief and Religion currently consist of 28 articles arranged in six chapters. Its effective date was set on January1, 2018 at the same time with the law.

The draft degree on sanctions for administrative violation in the field of belief and religion has 38 articles with four chapters. Its effective date was set to start on June 6, 2018.
