A meeting on the implementation of the National Assembly’s Resolution on piloting special mechanisms and policies to bolster Ho Chi Minh City’s development for religious dignitaries in Ho Chi Minh City was held on June 25.
The event organized by the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF)’s board in collaboration with the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS)’s executive board in Ho Chi Minh City’s Nha Be district was attended by dignitaries representing Caodaism, Hoa Hao Buddhist Church and over 100 Buddhist monks, nuns attending Summer Retreat Courses at Duc Phuc and Phap Vo pagodas.
During the meeting, Vice Chairman of the municipal VFF’s committee Đỗ Trung Tín introduced key contents of the Resolution No. 54/2017/QH14 issued by National Assembly in 2017. The Resolution aims to bolster the city’s development by piloting special mechanisms and policies.
