Da Nang municipal Committee for Religious Affairs held on October 19 a meeting for guiding the celebration of the 40th founding anniversary of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS) in the context of the Covid-19 outbreak in the city.
Jointing the meeting included representatives from the municipal Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, the municipal Commission for Mass Mobilization, the municipal Public Security, and the VBS chapter in the city.
As reported at the event, the 40th founding anniversary of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in the city will be held online on November 7 from the office of the municipal Fatherland Front Committee located in Hai Chau district’s Thach Thang ward.
During the meeting, the VBS executive committee in the city also informed municipal authorities of preparations for the 40th celebrating event, the implementation of the Covid-19 prevention measures, security and fire protection during the celebrations, etc.
