Deputy Prime Minister Trần Hồng Hà issued on April 13 Decision No. 380/QD-TTg approving the task of formulating a master plan on preserving and restoring the Huong Son Historical and Scenic Complex (Huong Pagoda) in My Duc district, Hanoi city.

The master plan involves a total area of about 8,200 ha, covering land areas of communes of Huong Son, An Tien, An Phu and Hung Tien of My Duc district.
The plan aims to further preserve and promote historical values of Huong Pagoda and the pagoda’s special values relating culture, belief, art, landscape and biodiversity.
Main contents of the plan consist of research and survey of the Complex’s current status, orientations for preserving and renovating the relic, promoting values associated with sustainable tourism development and forecasting environment’s impacts on the relic, etc...
The planning is slated to be completed in 24 months from April 13, and to be carried out by the People’s Committee in My Duc district.
The plan will be approved by the Prime Minister upon the submission by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
