The delegation joint by representatives of the religious affairs committee and concerning departments and agencies was welcomed by Cardinal Thượng Tám Thanh, President of the Caodai Church’s Executive Council.

During the visiting reception, while extending warm celebrations of Dieu Tri Festival to the Caodai leader as well as all members of the Tay Ninh Caodai Church, he spoke highly of practical contributions by parishes of the church for socio-economic developments in localities.

The official also asked the Caodai sect to celebrate the important festival safely with preventive measures against the Covid-19 pandemic as instructed by the health sector.   

On the occasion, the provincial VFF committee presented 2,000 facemasks and 500 bottles of hand washing liquid to the Caodai Church for usage during the festival this year.

Speaking with the guests, Cardinal Thượng Tám Thanh thanked provincial authorities of Tay Ninh for its delegation visit and congratulations for informed that the Tay Ninh Caodai Church planned to set up 74 stalls of worshiping offerings by the church’s parishes in Tay Ninh only, without inviting parishes from other provinces and overseas, as well as place hand washing lid quit along pathways in the Holy See, as cautious measures against spread of Covid-19 epidemic.

On the same day, Deputy Head of the mass mobilization commission in Tay Ninh Nguyễn Văn Trung also extended visits and congratulations to representative committees of Tay Ninh Caodai church, Ban Chinh dao (Correction-path) Caodai Church and Chieu Minh (Dazzling Bright) Tam Thanh Vo Vi Caodai Sect on occasion of Dieu Tri Festival 2020.
