Illegal construction in Hùng King temple relic complex to be removed

Viet Tri city People's Committee has issued an official note requesting the removal of the illegal construction in the Hung Kings temple historical site.

The illegal construction “Thu Cuc garden” has been built on an area of one ha in second zone 2 of the historical site where a bell tower to be erected.

Many facilities have been constructed without permission, including a wooden house on area of 140m2, swimming pool and a stage.

Many items of the illegal construction project have been completed and opened to visitors for few months, such as a flower valley, a studio, a lotus pond, and a restaurant area. In the late August, the Van Phu ward People's Committee fined two million VND for administrative violations and requested the investor to remove the illegal works. By the note dated on October 29, the Viet Tri municipal authorities ordered Van Phu ward people’s committee to dismantle the illegal construction.
