A ceremony to mark the death anniversary of Hung Kings was held on April 25 (the tenth day of the third lunar month) in Dak Ha district in the Central Highland province of Kon Tum.
The event was organized by the Dak Ha district People’s Committee in collaboration with Thap Ky Quang Pagoda and attended by Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party’s Committee Nguyễn Văn Hòa, Chairman of the district People’s Committee Đoàn Ngọc Thắng, several Buddhist and Catholic dignitaries, and a large number of locals.
During the ceremony, delegates and local people performed worshipping rituals and offered local specialties to Hùng Kings.

On the occasion, 40 disadvantaged pupils with excellent academic records were presented with Hung Vuong scholarships. Thap Ky Quang pagoda also presented 300 gift sets to poor households in Dak Ha district.
