Home Affairs training on state management on religion for commune-level cadres in Hoa Binh

The Home Affairs Department in Hoa Binh province in collaboration with the People’s Committee in the province’s Hoa Binh city held on September 9-10 a training class on state management on religion for commune-level cadres in the locality.
This is the last of the five training courses, with two days for each course, planned for year 2020 held from August to September for over 500 cadres who are heads of the Party Committee, People’s Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee as well as public security, and villages and social-political organizations in communes of Cao Phong, Luong Son, Da Bac, Mai Chau districts and Hoa Binh city.
The training course covered contents on state policies and laws on belief & religion, the Law on Belief and Religion 2016 and Decree No.162 detailing a number of articles of the law on belief and religion and prescribing measures for its implementation; the state governance on religion; several folk beliefs in Vietnam and ethnic minority groups; new registered religious organizations; the advocacy work; and the maintenance of public security and social order in religious communities.
The trainings also provided exchanges and discussions on practical issues of the state management on religion and administrative procedures relating belief & religion.
