A delegation of Home Affairs Department in Quang Binh province led by Deputy Director Phan Ngọc Duy visited on February 6 the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS)’s Executive Committee in the province ahead of the Lunar New Year 2018.
The delegation was welcomed by Most Venerable Chairman of the provincial VBS's Executive Committee Thích Tánh Nhiếp.
During the visiting reception taking place in Dai Giac pagoda located in the province’s Dong Hoi city, Deputy Director Phan Ngọc Duy extended Lunar New Year greetings to dignitaries and followers of the Buddhist chapter and called on Buddhist dignitaries to encourage local Buddhists to promote fine traditions and actively participate in movements for socio-economic development in the city.
On this occasion, Deputy Director Phan Ngọc Duy conveyed New Year Greeting and handed over Tet gifts from the Government Committee for Religious Affairs to Most Venerable Thích Tánh Nhiếp.
