Director of Ca Mau provincial Home Affairs Department Huỳnh Ngọc Sang paid on February 15 a visit to the Minh Chon Dao (Bright Verity) Caodai Church on occasion of Thuong Nguon Festival held on the first full moon of the year.
The home affairs official was welcomed by Cardinal Thái Tăng Tinh, Chairman of the Caodai Church’s Executive Committee, and Principal Archbishop Hương Phương, Vice Chairman of the Caodai executive committee.
During the visiting reception, while extending greetings to leaders and members of the Caodai church, Director Huỳnh Ngọc Sang highly appreciated practical contributions made by the church to the Covid-19 prevention over the last year.
He also expressed hope that the Caodai executive committee would continue guiding religious practices of lay members of the Caodai church according to the state laws and encouraging them to proactively participate in movements launched for socio-economic development in the locality.
