Attending the meeting included Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Đặng Quốc Vinh and representative leaders of provincial People’s Council and concerning provincial departments and agencies.

The meeting focused on current work of preservation and promotion of intangible values of the cultural heritage in the province. As reported at the event, the provincial museum annually organizes from two to three collection programs and receives from 200-250 artifacts. It currently preserves about 10,000 historical artifacts related folk songs, ancient weapon, worshipping festivals, etc.

For timely preserving degrading heritage sites as well as promoting fine values embodied in tangible cultural and historical heritage sites in the province for socio-economic development, comments of the meeting also pointed out practical measures related to the preservation planning for every heritage sites as well as other coordinating issues, such as finance, tourism development and communication and education works.

Ha Tinh province is currently home to 459 provincial-level heritage sites, 78 national heritage sites and two special national heritages, including Great Poet Nguyen Du Memorial and temples of Nguyen Thiep, Mai Hac De, etc.
