Vice Chairwoman of Ho Chi Minh city Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Triệu Lệ Khánh led a delegation to visit Candaransi pagoda on April 11 on occasion of Chol Chnam Thmay festival.
Presenting gifts to Khmer people
During the visit, the delegation presented 50 gift sets to poor Khmer people in the city, each worth VND 500,000.
On the same day, Ho Chi Minh city Women Association held a meeting on occasion of the Khmer traditional New Year and presented 150 gift sets to Khmer women in the city. The association also visited and extended best wishes to Vietnamese heroic mother Sơn Thị Kỷ in Binh Thanh ward and monks of the pagodas of Candarasi and Pothivong in Tan Binh district.
