Government religious committee official pays pre-Tet visit to Deputy Patriarch of Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in Bac Ninh

Vice Chairwoman of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) Trần Thị Minh Nga paid on January 30 a visit to Most Venerable Deputy Patriarch cum Chief Secretary of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS) Thích Thanh Dũng at Ham Long pagoda in Bac Ninh province , ahead of Lunar New Year (Tet) 2024.
Accompanying the vice chairwoman included Chairman of the Religious Affairs Committee in Bac Ninh province Chu Quang Hảo.
During the visit, while extending warm Tet greetings to Most Venerable Deputy Patriarch Thích Thanh Dũng, the GCRA official highlighted the role of the deputy patriarch in Buddhist affairs of the VBS over the past year.

Most Venerable Thích Thanh Dũng took the chance to thank to the Party and State and the GCRA for their favorable conditions extended to religious affairs of religious organizations in general, and the VBS in particular, and extended a traditional new year of happiness and success to all GCRA officials and staff.
