GCRA holds training on belief and religious affairs for cadres in north region

The Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) started on August 23 a training conference for cadres tasked with belief and religious affairs from central agencies and Northern provinces and cities.

This is part of a program approved by Prime Minister for training cadres tasked with belief and religious affairs in 2022-2026 period.

The opening ceremony of the training conference saw the presence of Director of the Organization and Personnel Department under the Government Committee for Religious Affairs Cát Ngọc Trình and 150 participants who are cadres tasked with belief and religious affairs in North region.

The training lasts until August 26 and covers key contents of the belief and religious life in the country; professional skills in accessing and processing information relating to belief and religion; the State administration on Buddhism, Catholicism, Protestantism, belief and new religious phenomena; security issues in the field of belief and religion; and field trips to several religious worshipping places in the locality.
