Exhibition displaying images and documents about ethnicity and religion opened in Yen Bai

Yen Bai museum in collaboration with the People’s Committee in the province’s Tram Tau district opened on April 18 an exhibition themed “Vietnam ethnic and religious communities in national construction and defense” in the district.

Exhibition will run until April 30

The event takes place on the occasion of the 15th Culture Day of Vietnam's Ethnic Groups (April 19) and the 48th Anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975-2023).

The exhibition consists of 400 images and documents about ethnicity and religion, including books, magazines, models and artifacts. The display content includes six main topics arranged in four spaces of ethnic minorities promoting solidarity, creativity, integration and development; images and documents on Vietnamese religions and beliefs; communities of ethnic minorities struggle for national liberation, defense and construction; and images of ethnic minorities, religions and beliefs in Yen Bai.

At the exhibition

The exhibition held with the aim to introduce overview of ethnic groups in Vietnam, historical tradition, ethnic cultural identities, state policies & laws on belief & religion, and values of religions in social life will run until April 30.
