The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee in Ha Giang province held on August 10 an exchange meeting with dignitaries and deacons of religions in the locality.
The event saw the participation of Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Nguyễn Mạnh Dũng, representatives of local authorities and 45 religious dignitaries and deacons in the province.

During the event, religious dignitaries and deacons discussed and commented on practical issues related to the implementation of ethnic and religious policies, collective religious practices and the renovation, upgrade and construction of religious facilities in the province.
Ha Giang province currently has three operative religions with over 30,000 followers residing in 12 districts with 23 district-level Vietnam Buddhist Sangha executive boards, two Catholic parishes of Tan Quang (Bac Quang district) and Thanh Tam (Ha Giang city) under Hung Hoa diocese, and 157 Protestant meeting groups in the province.
