Soc Trang provincial government officials and Catholic priests pose for group photo

Attending the event included Chairman of the provincial Party Committee’s Commission for Mass Mobilization cum Chairman of the provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Dương Sà Kha and Vice Chairwoman of the provincial People’s Committee Huỳnh Thị Ngọc Diễm.

Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairwoman Huỳnh Thị Diễm Ngọc informed results of socio-economic development in the province in eight months of 2022 and highlighted practical contributions made by Catholic priests and lay followers in socio-economic achievements recorded in Soc Trang over the past years.

She expressed hope that the local Catholic priests would continue promoting fine traditions and guiding religious practices of lay Catholics in accordance with the law.
