A delegation from the Evangelical Church of Vietnam (ECVN) (South) and its representative committee in Soc Trang province paid on February 3 a visit to Soc Trang provincial Party’s Committee on the occasion of the traditional Lunar New Year (Tet) 2021.
The evangelical church led by Pastor Hồ Nguyên Kha, Chairman of the representative committee in the province was welcomed by Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party’s Committee Hồ Thị Cẩm Đào.
Speaking at the visit reception, while extending Tet greetings to officials and staff of local authorities, Pastor Hồ Nguyên Kha took the chance to thank concerning local authorities for creating favorable conditions extended to religious affairs of the evangelical church.
In welcoming the delegation, Deputy Secretary Hồ Thị Cẩm Đào also wished a traditional New Year of peace and happiness to the Pastors as well as all members of the church and pledged to continue to creating favorable conditions for meeting legitimate needs of local religions, including Protestantism in the locality.
