The provincial Committee for Religious Affairs in An Giang held on July 28 a training conference for disseminating laws on belief and religion to key religious of Buddhism and Caodaism in the province.
The one-day training drew the participation of 150 dignitaries and deacons of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha’s chapter in the province and Caodai sects of Tay Ninh Church, Ban Chinh dao (Correction-Path) Church, Chon Ly (Verity) Church and Tien Thien (Ante-Creation) Church.

The training covered the Party’s guidelines and the State’s policies and laws on belief and religion, and forms of taking advantage of belief and religion to practice superstition, adversely affecting political security, social safety, public order and people's lives.
Earlier, on July 26, the provincial religious committee organized a disseminating conference on belief and religious laws in Tri Ton district, which drew the participation of 132 Khmer Buddhist dignitaries and deacons in the province.
