Dong Xoai city in Binh Phuoc holds exchange meeting with religious dignitaries

Authorities in Binh Phuoc province’s Dong Xoai city held on April 12 the exchange meeting 2023 with religious dignitaries in the provincial city.

Overview of the meeting

Present at the event included Secretary of the city Party’s Committee Hà Anh Dũng, representatives of concerning local authorities and key religious from religions in the province.

Dong Xoai city has currently 56 dignitaries from 9 nine religions with 12,000 lay followers. In 2022, religious organizations in the province have made practical contributions in social movements and actively engaged in charities, boosting sustainable development in the locality.

During the gathering, participating religious dignitaries highly appreciated the socio-economic development of Dong Xoai city and stated that the socio-economic achievement have practically improved the life of many people in the city including local religious followers.

Speaking at the event, Secretary Hà Anh Dũng praised comments raised by the religious dignitaries for developing a civilized city of Dong Xoai, expressed hope that they would continue guiding their members to practice the religion according to the state law and proactively join patriotic movements launched for promoting social development of the locality.
