Dong Da Mound will receive the special national relic title on occasion of the 230th celebration of Ngoc Hoi – Dong Da victory to be held by Ha Noi municipal authority.
The festival is a long tradition of Ha Noi honoring the Ngoc Hoi – Dong Da victory and merits of King Quang Trung – Nguyễn Huệ.
The event is annually held on the 5th day of the first lunar month with many traditional rituals, art performances and folk games.
According to Dong Da district authorities, the Prime Minister’s decision and the certificate classifying Dong Da Mound as the special national relic will be formally handed over to the management board of Dong Da Mound during this year festival.
In addition to annual main activities, the celebration of Ngoc Hoi – Dong Da victory this year will feature an exhibition of Tay Son period, the history of Dong Da Mound and the life of King Quang Trung – Nguyễn Huệ.
