Gia Lai provincial Committee for Religious Affairs held on October 26-27 a conference for disseminating state policies and laws on belief and religion to key religious followers in the locality.
The event drew 500 dignitaries and deacons from religious organizations of Buddhism, Catholicism and Protestantism in the province.
The two-day training covered topics on the Party’s guidelines and the State’s policies on belief and religion, the Law on Belief and Religion 2016 and other legal documents related to religion.
In addition, the conference participants also discussed difficulties and challenges in the process of implementing the Law on Belief and Religion and its guiding decree 162 in the last 10 months.
