Two conferences for disseminating religious laws to local officials in two districts of Tinh Bien and An Phu of An Giang province were held on March 27-30.
The conferences were co-organized by An Giang provincial Committee for Religious Affairs and district authorities of Tinh Bien and An Phu, and attended by over 200 district and commune-level officials in the districts.
The events covered state policies on religion including key contents of the Law on Belief and Religion and the Decree 162 on detailing a number of articles and providing measures for the implementation of the new law.
The event aimed to enhance knowledge of district and commune level cadres on religious laws in order to guide religious practices in the districts in accordance with the religious law.
