Key contents of state laws on belief and religion have been disseminated to participating monks and nuns of the Buddhist summer retreat 2020 in Thai Binh city, at a meeting held on September 27.
The meeting taking place at the retreat location based in Thanh Long pagoda was co-organized by the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS) chapter in the province and the provincial religious committee.
Speaking at the event, Vice Chairman of the provincial religious committee Nguyễn Văn Thạo spoke highly of practical contributions made by local Buddhists over the past years and affirmed that local authorities would create favorable conditions for social and religious affairs of Buddhist worshipping places in the province.
As reported, the provincial religious committee also disseminated state laws on belief and religion at five Buddhist retreat places in the province from 27 to 29 September.
