The home affairs department in Kon Tum province held on March 12-13 a conference for disseminating the Law on Belief and Religion to local religious dignitaries.
Attending the conference’s opening ceremony were Vice Chairman of the provincial home affairs department Nguyễn Thành Trung, Vice Chairwoman of the provincial committee for religious affairs Trương Thị Ngọc Anh and over 100 dignitaries of religions in the locality.
Overview of the conference .
The two-day conference covered topics on guidelines and policies of the Party and State on belief and religion, key contents of the Law on Belief and Religion 2016, and the Government Decree No.162 on detailing a number of articles and providing measures for the implementation of the new belief and religious law.
In addition, the provincial religious committee also explained practical issues relating to the implementation of several articles prescribed in the new law and its guiding decree.
