Tan Uyên district People’s Committee in Binh Duong province held on January 5 a meeting on the new Law on Belief and Religion to local officials in the district.
Attending the event were Chairman of the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs Trần Đức Thịnh, Chairman of the district People’s Committee Đoàn Hồng Tươi and about 260 participants who are commune-level officials tasked with religious affairs in the district.

During the meeting, Chairman Trần Đức Thịnh introduced key contents of the Law on Belief and Religion, including the necessity for enactment of the new legislation, main contents and new points of the new law.
