Ninh Binh provincial Committee for Religious Affairs in collaboration with Phat Diem diocese held on January 30 a meeting to disseminate the law on belief and religion and its guiding decree to Catholic dignitaries in the province.
The meeting was attended by Vice Chairman of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs Dương Ngọc Tấn, Chairman of the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs Dương Đại Đồng, Bishop of Phat Diem Diocese Joseph Nguyễn Năng, and the diocese’s priests and clergies.
During the event, GCRA Vice Chairman introduced key contents of the Law on Belief and Religion and the decree No.162/2017/ND-CP on detailing a number of articles and providing measures for the implementation of the Law on Belief and Religion.
Vice Chairman Dương Ngọc Tấn also highlighted new points of the law and explained concerning issues raised by the meeting participants.
