About 150 Buddhists participating in the summer retreat course held at Lien Phai pagoda in Hanoi attended on July 8 a session on the Law on Belief and Religion.
During the event, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Senior Lecturer of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, Head of the Advisory Council for religious affairs under the Hanoi city Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Ngô Hữu Thảo introduced new contents of the Law on Belief and Religion, as well as the government decree No.162 on detailing a number of articles and providing measures for the implementation of the Law. He also detailed legal contents on the establishment and operation of religious training institutions.
