The provincial committee for religious affairs in Lam Dong province held on November 15 a dissemination meeting on the new law on belief and religion.
The meeting drew the participation of over 140 deacons of religions and 80 district-and-commune level officials in the locality.

During the one-day event, Chairman of Lam Dong provincial Committee for Religious Affairs Ngô Văn Đức introduced key contents of Law on Belief and Religion enacted last November, with focus on new points as compared with the Ordinance of Belief and Religion 2016 and specific articles relating religious land and construction, and medical and educational activities of religious organization, etc.
In addition, the meeting participants also engaged in open discussion of practical issues relating practices of religions in Lam Dong province, and local officials participating in the event proactively explained and interpreted remaining problems raised by religious deacons.
